I decided to roll the dice on an unknown brand. The toilet arrived and when I unboxed it I really liked the aesthetics. The toilet works really well: it automatically open the lid when you get close by. The spray is just strong enough and drying is nice. I love the fact the toilet automatically flushes when you stand up. And the toilet keeps itself pretty clean upon each flush. It compares to the Korean/ Japanese toilets I have used on my travels. The remote is nice. I'm very happy with my purchase so far.

I know this is a very expensive loo, potty, toilet, etc., but it’s worth every penny.. Beautiful, sleek, tankless design. Love the heated seat, warm air option and multiple other settings! You control the water temperature, pressure, and angle. My biggest concern is “IF” something does go wrong, would our local plumber be able to repair any issues. I’m going to maintain a positive attitude! And hope I never have to seek a plumbers opinion. It’s nice if you have to get up during the night to use the “porcelain facilities”. The lid opens on it’s own and provides enough light so you don’t even have to turn the on the bathroom light! Read the product description thoroughly, I haven’t come across anything it’s advertised to do that it doesn’t do. Very happy with purchase.

We had a very difficult time setting this in place due to the lack of room between the rear of the toilet and wall. We had to try and connect all the flex water lines prior to lowering it in place as there is no room to work behind the toilet. Then we had issues with hoses kinking, so had to go purchase a superior non-kink metal flex hose, and of course that introduced other problems of trying keep the hoses tucked in out of sight.The anchoring system is different than others I have installed. Usually, you lower the toilet over bolts, than reach behind and in to place the nuts and washers on the bolts. I think the theory of this toilets anchoring system is a good idea. After preparing the floor drain for installation, you place the L shaped plastic piece over the bolts on the toilet flange, then tighten them down with washer and nuts. On the bottom of the toilet, where there is typically just bolt size holes you have to work with, there are two large holes, about 2" or so in diameter in which you slowly lower the toilet down over these. Sounds easy, no? But, we kept catch the edge of the porcelain opening. Maybe this is due to the type and size of the original toilet flange, which I did not want to replace so I used the flange that has been there for years.After you set the toilet, you place two plastic clips in the holes on the side of the toilet, then insert a long screw that reaches the plastic L clip which has many holes in it in order to catch if there a slight differences. I was a little nervous when tightening these screws as I did not want to snap any parts. There are two caps that fit over the plastic insert to cover the screwhead. I then tested the toilet to make sure all features worked. Then sealed the floor eedge of the toilet with silicone caulk.Waited a day to try in order to make sure the silicone was dry enough.After using for a couple of days, we did have some issues with completely flushing and cleaning the bowl, but typically need to flush twice. Now, I'm not sure if there is a slight kink in the no kink hose, or maybe not enough water pressure from the city, but it does have a pump that forces the water when flushing.All the adjustments on the remote work as intended. The deodorizer doesn't seem to do anything, but maybe it is not in place. But to check or replace, you have to remove a couple of screws, No thanks, we don't need it!Overall, I like the toilet, and if you are building a new bath and can arrange some adjustments to the water line and room between the wall and the toilet, it would be better. The toilet sticks out two more inches then the original toilet.The video above reflect a view to the anchoring system, but I should have taken a picture before dropping in place.

I got this for our guest half bath off the kitchen. Initially I was planning to put it in the master bathroom, but decided against it. We expect this to be the "pooping" toilet and this, wanted to place it out of the en suite bathrooms and also wanted our guest to be able to enjoy it without going upstairs.
Installation is fairly easy and pretty standard. Remember that this is a tankless toilet, so if you cheated on painting your room around your existing toilet, you'll have a large space to paint when you're done with this one. The power cord was long enough to reach to my existing GFCI receptacle. The water line connects well to my existing copper supply stub. I'd concerned about connecting to a PEX stub...you might need an adapter.
The lid open feature is, as others have noted, very sensitive. If this was in our bathrooms (where you walk past the toilet to use the shower) then it would probably open every time you walked past which would probably get irritating. Being in half bath, that's a non-issue. Also, as others have noted, there is definitely beeping for a lot of the functions. I wouldn't want that in the night, so again, it's nice that this is in the half bath. It flushes like an automated toilet...don't race it...you can't get your pants back up and buckled before this thing flushes. That being said, you should be clean so it shouldn't be an issue.

We encountered this style of toilet on our recent trip to Japan and loved it. We were excited to try one out in our own home. The CANEST Smart Toilet is a very nice smart toilet with a lot of features. Some of these features are spot-on, while others could use some tweaking. This is a stylish toilet that feels luxurious. My favorite feature is the automatic lid opening that also turns on a nightlight within the toilet and the custom heated toilet seat.Pros: The installation was fairly easy, I was able to complete it in an hour, including removing the old toilet. All of the necessary parts were included. The controls are intuitive. All of the features worked as advertised, including the heated seat, heated bidet, and foot-activated seat lift/flush. The power cord is decently long (picture included), so the outlet need not be directly behind the toilet. The flush is plenty powerful despite not having a tank (though I suspect this will depend on your water pressure).Cons: The sensor to automatically open the lid of the toilet is rather sensitive and cannot be turned off. If your toilet is located where you shower and brush teeth and shave etc., you will find yourself triggering the lid to open quite often. It's not a big deal, but it is a little annoying. If you are sitting on the toilet and stand up, it goes into a flush sequence after a couple of seconds. This is great, except for the fact that it does not close the lid for some reason. It's easy to just tap the lid down a little, and it'll finish closing, but that seems like a miss in the programming. The included hoses are pretty easy to kink, so the bend radius is not very tight. The toilet beeps for certain functions and cannot be turned off, which can be annoying.Another tip: our last toilet had a tank that, after removal, revealed that there was no wall paint behind the tank. The new toilet is tankless and does not cover this spot, so we will have to repaint that wall at some point. It's no big deal, but it's something to keep in mind, as no one paints behind a toilet tank.

This CANEST smart toilet with bidet is a winner! Fully loaded with just about everything you want. Seat heater, blow dryer, heated water, adjustable nozzles, auto lid/seat, low water use. It even has a night light and a remote!
Everything you need to install is in the box. And it's a heavy box. Two person lift. Instructions were clear and pricise. Remove old toilet, install included mounts and wax ring, run water lines, place toilet and power it up. I had no problems with the install. No plumber needed.
We have been using it for a few weeks and have nothing but praise for it. Only thing I'd like to be different is the auto flush. You are not given enough time to wipe and dispose of tissue. No biggie because you were pretty clean anyway.
Awesome product, worth it and way better than the add-on bidet seats I have.

The CANEST Smart Toilet is SO nice! It has every feature I could ever dream a toilet would have - features I never knew I even wanted, or needed, and now I don't ever want to live without. It's seriously the toilet of tomorrow, TODAY. The installation/set up was super easy, and didn't take long at all - there's a helpful install video on the Amazon page too. It comes with a handy remote control for all of it's features, which can be mounted on the wall. It's tankless, and uses less water than other toilets. It has a bidet with both front, and back, cleaning - with warm water, a dryer, and self-cleaning mode. It has a night light, heated seat (no more freezing bum), foot sensor, auto deodorization, and a soft closing lid. From installation to use this toilet is user friendly. Overall, I think it's very well made, well designed, and definitely high quality - absolutely worth the price. I highly recommend!

I noticed the box the CANEST Smart Toilet came in was damaged, and when I opened it up the toilet was badly broken. Fortunately, the manufacturer is the same company that sends the toilet out, and it's under warranty, so they'll be replacing it for me. Customer service has been excellent - extremely helpful. I'll update this when I receive the new toilet.
